We invite you to join us for a Sunday service to see for yourself what Clair UMC is about.

We understand that going anywhere for the first time can be a bit of a nerve-racking experience. To help avoid any worries here's a quick summary of what you can expect at Clair. We have all had a 'first day' at church, you'll find we are a friendly bunch. Relax...We want our church to be your home...

Dress how you are comfortable. Our focus is not on who wears what - but whether or not people are connecting with God and each other.

Directions to Clair UMC. We are located at 2 S.E. 68th Road, St. Joseph, MO. Just a short drive in the country, one mile east of Riverside Rd. on Highway 6.

Parking places are reserved for first time guests in the front area of the parking lot.

You will be greeted at the door by a smiling face and handed the church bulletin. Just enter and sit wherever you feel comfortable. Be assured that during the service you will not be singled out in any way as a visitor. We want you to relax and enjoy the service without the fear of embarrassment. Our aim is that whether you are just looking into Christianity for the first time or have been a Christian for many years that you should be encouraged and inspired by the morning. We hope that everyone will draw closer to God.

Service is at 10:45 a.m. each Sunday. We have a blended service with both traditional hymns and uplifting music performed by the Praise Band. Our services are for all ages and stages. We use contemporary style and preserve the traditions that have allowed the church to flourish for almost 100 years.
